The work camp programs at the Chapel provide a context for servant ministry and include work, worship, study and reflection. It is an opportunity for community building between different cultures, races and ages, in order to better understand our unity and ministry in Christ's name.

The projects generally include maintenance of the Chapel buildings, rehabilitation of homes, assistance in our summer day camp programs, and community clean-up in East Wheeling. We also assist our good friends at Habitat for Humanity and the Catholic Neighborhood Center. Most of the work sites are within one mile of the Chapel, in the East Wheeling section--a racially mixed neighborhood with a high rate of poverty.

Dormitory-style housing is available at two nearby facilities. Both youth and adult groups are welcome, including middle school youth. Participants come from churches and other groups across the country, as well as locally.
