Youth Programs Programs for Middle and High School students continue after dinner Monday through Thursday. The group is led by Chapel staff, assisted by student volunteers from area colleges. The youth enjoy recreation in the gym, plan service projects, participate in programs about health, career planning, social and personal issues, and assist in clean-up after dinner. Once evening each week is devoted to editing the reports submitted from teachers to produce Laughlin Chapel’s monthly news letter. They also participate in community events such as Martin Luther King Day, African American Heritage Day, Social Action day, West Virginia Day, Miracle Christmas Concert and other events when asked. Annual enrollment in the evening youth program is approximately 60 students, with a daily participation of 30 young people. ![]() All services are offered to young people and their families without regard to race, gender, religion or background.
