Youth Programs Programs for middle and high school students continue after dinner Monday through Thursday. The group is led by Chapel staff, assisted by student volunteers from area colleges. The youth enjoy recreation in the gym, hold Chapel Youth Choir rehersals, plan service projects, and participate in programs about health, career planning, personal and social issues. One evening each week is devoted to the production of Teen-Zine magazine, a cooperative project with mission partners Ogden Newspapers and Waynesburg College. The magazine, which is published two times each year, is distributed in 50,000 copies of the Wheeling newspapers. Staff and youth take several trips each year, visiting colleges, museums and recreational facilities. Recent destinations have included Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Berea, KY. Annual enrollment in the evening youth program is 60, with daily participation of 30 young people. ![]() All services are offered to young people and their families without regard to race, gender, religion or background.
